Lampert, Zohra -- Actress who played the unfortunate Zili Markova in "Blackout". Born 5.13.37 in New York, NY, Lampert starred in the television series Doctor's Hospital andWhere the Heart Is, as well as numerous made-for-TV movies, and guest-starred in Naked City, Then Came Bronson, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., The FBI, Kojak, Hunter and The Equalizer.

Landau, Martin -- Actor who played Danny Preston in "Danny Was A Million Laughs"; Born in 1931 (Brooklyn, NY), Landau worked as a cartoonist for the New York Daily News before getting into acting, and made his Broadway debut in Middle of the Night (1957). He earned major supporting roles in such feature films as North by Northwest (1959) and Cleopatra (1963), and guest-starred in such TV series as Gunsmoke, The Untouchables, The Outer Limits, The Twilight Zone and The Wild Wild West, to name but a few. Gene Roddenberry wanted Landau for the role of Mr. Spock in Star Trek, but Landau became a member of the cast of Mission: Impossible instead. His other films include Nevada Smith (1966), Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) and Ed Wood (1994), for which he won a Supporting Actor Oscar.

Laperouse -- Stylish Paris restaurant on the Left Bank visited by Robinson and Scott in I Spy #1, located on the Quai des Grand-Augustins. They ate belon oysters washed down with a 1961 Montrachet.

Larsen, General -- The two-starred general and former tank commander who was briefed by Robinson and Scott in office 5-E-638 of the Pentagon regarding Force One's Operation Destiny. Larsen was in charge of finding the hidden Tabun before it was released inside the Pentagon. (I Spy #1)

Laswell -- The man who, at the American consulate in Hong Kong, gave Kelly and Scotty the unpleasant task of offering the obnoxious defector Elroy Brown a plane ticket home to the States.

Lawford, Peter -- Actor, who played British Intelligence agent George Hackaby in "Get Thee to a Nunnery". Born Peter Sydney Ernest Aylen in London, 9.7.23, died 12.24.84. Lawford was the brother-in-law of John F. Kennedy during his marriage to Patricia Kennedy, and was a member of the "Rat Pack" which also included Frank Sinatra, dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr. and Joey Bishop. He appeared in films like Mrs. Miniver (1942), Little Women (1949), Ocean's Eleven (1960) and They Only Kill Their Masters (1972). He was a frequent guest on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In and panelist on The Hollywood Squares.

Lewin, Robert -- Wrote the episodes "Tatia", "Weight of the World" and "Shana". Lewin also wrote episodes of Cannon, Kung Fu, Hawaii Five-O, The Paper Chase and Star Trek: The Next Generation. He was producer of Bracken's World and The Paper Chase as well as co-producer of Star Trek: TNG.

Liang, Dr. Kuo -- The 43-year-old Chinese physicist who earned a Ph.D. at Columbia under Rabi and went on to head the Feng Tsai research team that produced Red China's first hydrogen bomb. (Masterstroke)

Liang Win -- Chinese woman who married Benjamin Bryant, and who was kidnapped by the Red Chinese. Scott rescued her on the Hong Kong waterfront. (CB#1)

Lita -- A woman Robinson met (and, presumably, romanced) in Barcelona, and who he ran into again in Seville when he was out on a date with Zili Markova in "Blackout". A woman scorned, Lita refused to help Robinson on the following day when he searched for clues to the murder of Zili. Played by Poupee Gamin.

Loo, Richard -- This popular Asian-American character actor of Chinese ancestry was born in Hawaii in 1903. He often played movie villains (particularly during the Second World War.) His film credits include Bombs Over Burma, God Is My Co-Pilot, Back to Bataan, Tokyo Rose, Love is a Many-Splendored Thing, Battle Hymn and The Man with the Golden Gun. He guest-starred in series like Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, The Wackiest Ship in the Army, The Wild Wild West, Hawaii Five-O, It Takes A Thief and Kung Fu. He died in 1983.

Lorelei Motel -- Las Vegas hostelry, about a block from The Strip, where Robinson and Scott stash John Keegan for safekeeping in "Lori". It's where Keegan gets the drop of Scott after the latter discovers that Keegan is a KGB mole responsible for the death of Jim Rogers and the murders of five members of The Cadre.

Loring, Tatia -- Beautiful photographer who was ostensibly doing a piece on tennis star Kelly Robinson while the latter was in Tokyo. She turned out to be an enemy agent who was responsible for the disappearance of two American agents and the murders of two others, one of the latter being Robinson's friend John Irving. Though he had fallen in love with her, Robinson set her up in a classic doublecross that left her superiors thinking she was actually working for the Americans. Her fate unknown. Played by Laura Devon in the episode "Tatia".

Ludwig, Jerry -- Jerrold Ludwig scripted the episodes "Cops and Robbers", "Now You See Her, Now You Don't", "A Few Miles West of Nowhere" and "The Name of the Game". He also wrote for Hawaii Five-O, Police Story and MacGyver, in addition to screenplays for such TV movies as Deadly Desires, Roman Holiday and Assignment Munich. He also served as editor for dozens of other TV movies.

Lyman -- Importer and American agent who, like Benjamin Wallace, was listed as missing, presumed dead in Tokyo. He was enroute to Saigon from Washington, but ran afoul of Tatia Loring. ("Tatia")
